The first trailer for Disney’s live-action film The Sorcerer’s Apprentice it here, and it looks exactly like what I expected it to be. With Jerry Bruckheimer producing and Jon Turteltaub directing the movie is sure to be a big action adventure special effects extravaganza with Nicolas Cage delivering mediocre dialogue and being silly. It looks like National Treasure with magical elements.
The movie is sure to be fun and there is no doubt that the kids are going to love it. After you watch this trailer you know exactly what you are getting into when you see this movie. It is going to be fun to watch, but don’t expect Cage’s acting to be any better. It’s a popcorn flick.
An innovative and epic comedy adventure about a sorcerer and his hapless apprentice who are swept into the center of an ancient conflict between good and evil. Balthazar Blake (NICOLAS CAGE) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (ALFRED MOLINA). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (JAY BARUCHEL), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE.
I do want to point out that I really enjoyed the music used in the trailer. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!Source: Geektyrant.com
