Rooney Mara Is Nancy in A Nightmare on Elm Street!

In a story from Bloody-Disgusting, Rooney Mara is moving in to play Nancy Thompson in Warner Bros. and Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

The film is being directed by Samuel Bayer and starts shooting in May in Chicago.

Already cast in the film are Jackie Earle Haley (as the notorious Freddy Krueger), Kyle Gallner and Thomas Dekker.

In the 1984 Nightmare on Elm Street, Nancy was played by Heather Langenkamp.

A Nightmare on Elm Street comes to theaters April 16 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
