Joel Silver, Warner Brothers and the Nobles of Eternia and the Defenders of the Secrets of Castle Greyskull have finally attached a director to the oft-discussed but slowly moving Masters of the Universe film. That man, according to Variety, is Kung Fu Panda director John Stevenson. The jury is still out on Stevenson, but I can tell you this: if Teela isn’t wearing form-fitting white shorts, the boycott begins now.

No start date or casting information to report yet, but we’re hoping Peter Dinklage gets the nod for Orko.
