KICK-ASS Character Movie Posters!

Hey Gang! I’ve got some Kick-Ass posters for the new Matthew Vaughn directed film Kick-Ass, which is based on the incredibly awesome Mark Millar comic book.I saw some film footage from this film up at Comic-Con this year and it was definitely one of my favorite panels of the Con. The footage we got to see was incredible. I think this movie is going to be a huge hit with the audience even though it is incredibly ultra violent. Hell, it has an 11 year old girl slicing people up and beating the bloody hell out of grown men. I assume that will only increase it’s popularity.I can’t wait for a trailer to pop up for the film so you can see how awesome this movie is really going to be. This is definitely the perfect story for any and every comic book movie geek. Here is the official Plot Summary:

A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).Lionsgate has scheduled Kick-Ass to hit theaters on April 16th 2009. Check out the posters below and feel free to share your thoughts with us!
