Drowning shocks family.
Man, 23, found near Wasaga beach.
Relatives of a 23-year-old Toronto man who drowned near Wasaga Beach were too stunned to speak yesterday while police tried to determine the cause of the tragedy.
Nelson Nogaro, 23, was pronounced dead at Collingwood Hospital on Saturday after he was found in the Nottawasaga River at 5:30 p.m. A search started an hour earlier when Nogaro didn't surface from the waters of the river.
"I'm at a loss for words right now, I really don't know what to say," said a devastated family member at Nogaro's North York home.
OPP reported officers were investigating the cause of the drowning, adding there is no evidence of foul play.

My deepest condolences goes to the family and friends of Nelson, I did not meet him at all, but I have friends who did, it's always sad to see someone you love go especially if it's a young person....it is a tragic loss. I'm sure where ever he is, his smiling just like he used to do in all his pictures... I'm so very sorry.
I leave here a poem from one of my favorite tv shows, Six Feet Under.
' I depart as air.
I shake my white locks at the runaway sun,
I bequeath myself to the dirt
To grow from the grass I love.
If you want me again,
Look for me under your boot soles.
You will hardly know who I am or what I mean
But I shall be good health to you nevertheless.
Missing me one place?
Search another.
I stop somewhere,
waiting for you.'
