Providing some reassurance for Nightmare on Elm Street purists (if such a thing could exist in a post-Freddy vs. Jason age) worried about changes in the upcoming remake, Platinum Dunes released the above shot of the new, seemingly-unaltered Freddy, Jackie Earle Haley. Of course, the face is still hidden, so there's still a 50/50 shot one of the producers decided it would be "really cool" if Krueger's face was horribly disfigured save for this totally awesome goatee he manages to keep groomed.Source: I Watch Stuff.com
