Great New Trailer For TRICK ‘R TREAT.

I’m really pissed that this film never got a theatrical release. I have yet to see the film, but I wanted to see it on the big screen. It seems like everyone that has seen Trick ‘r Treat has loved the hell out of it, so I am extremely excited to finally see it when it makes it way onto DVD and Blu Ray on October 6th. Halloween 3-D Gets It’s Valentine!

So we brought you the news earlier that Halloween 3-D was next up and without Rob Zombie and rumors were flying about a new director. Well it looks like it’s Patrick Lussier, the guy that brought us My Bloody Valentine 3-D and several other Dimension/Weinstein movies is negotiating to write and direct the next chapter in the Halloween series. H2 hasn’t been the strongest of stories but it has made a profit, so much that the studio is aiming for a Summer 2010 release! (And the Weinsteins need money, or so I’ve heard!

UPDATED: Red-Band Trailer for CLIVE BARKER's BOOK OF BLOOD.

Last night, astute Fango readers noticed the Red-Band Trailer for CLIVE BARKER'S BOOK OF BLOOD when it first arrived in our homepage video player. Now we're highlighting it for you below in anticipation of Lightning Media's NEW September 22nd DVD release, moved up from the 29th. UPDATED: Pre-orders are now online for both the DVD and Blu-Ray.

Last month Fango gave you the first-look at the cover art and DVD specs from the film, and for those of you just discovering this, we've got those for you again below the jump!
Lightning Media will present the movie in 16x9-enhanced 1.78 widescreen with 5.1 Surround sound, accompanied by a making-of featurette running approximately 20 minutes. There will also be a Blu-ray release the same day with the same specs. Jonas Armstrong stars in BOOK OF BLOOD as a medium who is brought by a parapsychologist (Sophie Ward) to an allegedly haunted house. At first he fakes sightings of the spirits, but then they begin to manifest for real—and carve words into his skin. Get Ready, Get Set-Based Twilight Book.

Just before the dawn of the DVD, Twilight fans can get a dose of life on the set with Robert Pattinson (swoon).

Little, Brown and Company is releasing Twilight: Director's Notebook, by Catherine Hardwicke, on March 17.

The book follows the director's creative process throughout the making of the Pattz and Kristen Stewart blockbuster based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling series. The tome is designed to replicate the notebook she kept on set.

“With this book, I tried to show fans and future directors some of the process that the crew and I went through filming Twilight,” Hardwicke says. “My challenge was to translate Stephenie’s powerful book and make you feel what she makes you feel when you read her works.”

The publishing house promises the inside secrets on casting, location scouting, wardrobe and storyboard sketches and behind-the-scenes photographs.

The book's launch comes only four days before the March 21 release of the Twilight DVD. The film's sequel, New Moon, is scheduled for Nov. 20, 2009, theatrical release, although Hardwicke will not be at the helm. Instead, Golden Compass director Chris Weitz will be taking the lead.
