3rd X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer Hits!

Apple has released the third full trailer for director Gavin Hood's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which opens in theaters May 1st, 2009.

The film tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, will.i.am, Dominic Monaghan and Daniel Henney.

Hugh Jackman Howling Mad Over Wolverine Leak.

Hugh Jackman isn't a happy mutant right now.

The Aussie actor is lamenting the Internet leak of a rough cut of his would-be blockbuster, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a month before its May 1 release.

"It's a serious crime and there's no doubt it's very disappointing—I was heartbroken by it," Jackman told reporters at a press conference in Sydney to kick off a worldwide promotional tour for the prequel. "Obviously, people are seeing an unfinished film. It's like a Ferrari without a paint job."

The A-lister, however, praised those fans who have refused to view the bootleg (we're not looking at you, Roger Friedman). He also expressed hope that the perpetrataor will be tracked down and brought to justice.

"The FBI are onto it, and they're taking it very, very seriously," Jackman said.

And if the feds don't succeed, maybe a certain razor-clawed, sideburned dude with a bad attitude will take the case.

The First Real Image of Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Your first real look at Wolverine in Fox's upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been unleashed by USA Today.

"I know it seems odd given, you know, the guy is already half animal," says Hugh Jackman, who revives the character in Wolverine, due in theaters May 1, 2009. "But with all the success of the X-Men, you feel the pressure to keep pushing it further."

According to USA Today, the film will trace Wolverine's past as he discovers the world of mutants and, ultimately, the ominous Weapon X program, which turns people into living weapons.

Jackman is tight-lipped on plot details, though he says the film will hardly be a one-mutant story.

Wolverine's nemesis Sabretooth "is going to play a big part in it. And there will be a good bit of cameos" of new and familiar mutants, he says. "But you can't give too much away, because fans are pretty hard-core. Their expectations go up a level every time you come out with a new film."
