New ‘Terminator Salvation’ & ‘Crank 2′ Posters.

Yesterday, the final poster for Crank 2: High Voltage appeared online in addition to a brand new one for Terminator Salvation.

We’ll start with the good one first: The new Terminator poster. Like the other Terminator Salvation images and posters, this one is pretty cool. In it, we see head of a destroyed Terminator unit being held by a resistance fighter – finally a poster that shows something positive for the good guys!
Next we have Crank which is just Jason Statham on a yellow background. That’s it. This particular poster interestingly was first revealed through Lionsgate’s Twitter account.I’m not excited for the Crank sequel and if I was, perhaps this poster would be pretty cool. I barely enjoyed the first one and I didn’t enjoy Transporter 3 so I’m getting pretty tired of these Jason Statham solo action films. He needs to get back into good roles like his Guy Ritchie characters or Handsome Rob from The Italian Job movie (at least we may be getting more of the ladder with The Brazilian Job if it every comes out).

That being said, Statham does make for a great action-oriented character I just don’t like the roles he gets with them - Perhaps his character in The Expendables will be perfect.

The newest installment for the Terminator franchise however, I am very excited for. Much of that excitement came from the latest full trailer for Terminator Salvation which was incredible (That’s a must-watch if you’ve not seen it yet).

Linda Hamilton Is Confirmed for Terminator: Salvation.

It's been rumored that director McG was trying to get Linda Hamilton to do a voice over for Terminator Salvation, reprising her role as Sarah Connor, but last we heard, nothing had been finalized on that development. Now, someone who had a sneak peek at the film has told our friends at CHUD that Hamilton's voice is in the film.

According to the source, the voice over is not long, and it comes in very early in the film, but it fits very well into the context of the film, and is similar to the voice over work Hamilton did for Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Unfortunately, other details were scarce from the source. But it seems that, at a minimum, the rumor about Linda Hamilton reprising her voice as Sarah Connor is true. This also speaks well for the tone of the film, and suggests that Hamilton at least tacitly approves of the new film.

A Hot Toys finalmente divulgou os detalhes e as fotos oficiais de sua nova 'action figure' do filme Terminator Salvation realizado por McG.

O John Connor Collectible Figure, em escala 1:6, mede aproximadamente 30 cm de altura e tem mais de 36 pontos de articulação. O rosto identico ao do actor Christian Bale foi esculpido por Weapon X e pintado por JC Hong.

A action figure vem vestida com roupas de tecido super detalhadas e com vários acessórios como: Headset, Rádio, Demolition blocks, luvas e botas, além das seguintes armas: M4A1 com mira laser, XM-26 LSS, Line launcher, Tactical fixed blade e Pistola com coldre. Terminator Salvation: Action Figures do T-700 e do T-600!

A Hot Toys, de Hong Kong, não pará e anunciou mais duas action figures com qualidade superior inspiradas no novo filme Terminator Salvation.

O T-700 Endoskeleton, em escala 1:6, mede aproximadamente 31 cm e tem mais de 25 pontos de articulação, além dos dedos das mãos e dos pés também totalmente articulados!

O soldado da Skynet acende os olhos de verdade e vem com base de exibição com nome T-700. O lançamento está previsto para abril de 2009 e o preço ainda não foi divulgado.

A máquina de matar T-600, também em escala 1:6, mede aproximadamente 35 cm de altura com mais de 25 pontos de articulação, além dos dedos das mãos também serem articulados.

O exterminador T-600 vem com uma “Gatling Gun” com munição presa ao Endoskeleton e seus olhos acendem de verdade. O lançamento está previsto para maio de 2009 e o preço ainda não foi divulgado.

Mas uma coisa vos digo, não deve ser barato, provavelmente teremos que despeder de mais de $100 doláres...

Christian Bale explodes on Set!! (Explicit) Plus new T-600 photo.

You may remember that Christian Bale went nuts on the set of "Terminator Salvation" a few months back, threatening to stop production and beat some serious ass.
The incident was audiotaped, and it's amazing. It happened on the set after a director of photography accidentally ruined a scene by walking onto the set. Bale lost it, screaming, yelling and threatening to quit if the bosses didn't fire the dude.

Film execs sent the tape to the insurance company that insured the film in case Bale bailed.
