Scarlett, The Hottest G.I. Joe Character Poster.

Paramount Pictures has provided Film School Rejects with an exclusive look at the next character poster from G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, featuring Rachel Nichols as Shana ‘Scarlett’ O’Hara. Nichols, who was most recently seen in Star Trek, obviously adds a bit of the sex appeal to Stephen Sommers’ film, alongside the The Baroness, the sexy bad girl played by Sienna Miller. For my money, I’m pulling for Ms. Scarlett to kick some ass in this movie.

Also, we don’t like to brag — but we’re certain that of all the awesome poster exclusives that have shown up across the movie blogosphere, we’re reasonably sure that we held out for the best one — or at least the hottest one. That said, please feel free to feast your eyes below on Rachel Nichols as Scarlett.

First Look at G.I. Joe's Scarlett.

Fans were thrilled a month ago when we got our first look at Ray Parks in his Snake Eyes costume from G.I. Joe, and they should be just as happy to see this first shot of Rachel Nichols as Scarlett.

Scarlett is one of the primary characters in the G.I. Joe series, and has been romantically linked to Snake Eyes in several versions of the story. She is capable with all modern weapons, but Scarlett's weapon of choice is a specialized crossbow capable of firing trick bolts.

The movie will be a modern telling of the "G.I. Joe vs. Cobra" storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago. The premise of this fantasy is the story of the G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their "fight for freedom wherever there is trouble" against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force.

G.I. Joe is currently filming and is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release. The film stars Ray Parks, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Said Taghmaoui, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum, Dennis Quiad, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo, Karolina Isela Kurkov, Byung Hun Lee and Christopher Eccleston.
