THE HOBBIT Release Date Pushed back to 2012?

A couple days ago we reported that The Hobbit production has been delayed and wont start shooting until the middle of 2010. People were saying not to worry that it was possible the film would still come out in December 2011. Now according to an executive close to the film the release date might just end up being pushed to 2012.

Here’s what The Wrap reports:
''While it is still possible that it could come out in December 2011, it looks more likely to be 2012.''

I figured that would happen, so I’m not surprised. Lets just hope that the Mayan calendar is a bunch of BS and the end of the world wont go down in 2012 before we see this movie. I’d be one pissed off zombie. Yes 2012 will in fact involve zombies.
