District 9 - Amazing new trailer.

Here is the new trailer for Neill Blomkamp's District 9. This is the film with aliens coming to Earth and being put in camps in South Africa. Peter Jackson has produced it.Quite frankly it looks stunning. Very documentary in style, but the effects look incredible - you see more of the aliens, more spacecraft, mech armour, baby aliens (check out the PSA to see how the aliens reproduce) and more. The trailer also gives you a better look at the tale. What are the humans at MNU doing with the aliens? What is happening to the MNU guy when he gets sprayed by some alien chemical?

How good does it look? It is due out on 15th August.

Pandorum - New trailer for dark sci-fi.

Another great trailer for this sci-fi film. I do wonder if Dennis Quaid's character is just a figment of Ben Foster's imagination.

Two crewmen (Ben Foster, Dennis Quaid) awaken from hyper-sleep aboard a spacecraft. None of their equipment is working, and their memories are incomplete. What was their mission? How much time has passed? Where are they? Who are they? As they try to piece things together, they discover they are not alone, and the ship's new inhabitants - tribal warriors carrying crudely made weapons - are moving among them, intent on killing all aboard. As the space travelers unravel the frightening and deadly secrets the ship harbors, they realize the survival of mankind hinges on their actions. They must regain control of the ship before PANDORUM takes over.

See Arnold Digitally Fulfilling His Promise to 'Be Back'.

With Terminator Salvation getting dismal reviews and less-than-stellar box office, Sony Pictures has decided on the last-ditch effort of showing their entire Termi-hand, and they've released a new television spot that reveals the much talked about cameo by a young, digital Arnold Schwarzenegger head pasted on a bodybuilder Roland Kickinger's frame. If you haven't seen it yet, I think you'll be pretty impressed by how surprisingly convincing it looks. All those years of copy-and-pasting bosses' and teachers' heads onto naked bodies has finally fulfilled itself in a meaningful way.

Four Effing Minutes of 'Terminator Salvation'.

This trailer really lays all the cards on the table. John Connor confronting his Terminator buddy; Terminator motorcycles; Terminator Bears fighting Terminator Gorillas; a Terminator punching a guy so hard he lands on the sun; the 1st Annual Terminator Dog Show; a smaller Terminator skeleton within a larger Terminator skeleton; Terminator Buddha; just everything.

I can't imagine there are many surprises left for the film after this trailer, but still, kind of awesome:My favorite part is the dramatic shot of a Terminator walking up a step. They can go up steps now! We can't just run upstairs and wait for their batteries to die! They're learning! John Connor should have narrated that in his rasp-whisper.
