Final 'Dark Knight Rises' Trailer Is Here.

With the viral event completed and Christopher Nolan appeased of his demand for new episodes of Murphy Brown, the final trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has been released. It has a surprisingly serene tone for a film stuffed with explosions and fist fights. It also has a lot more emphasis on plot, Catwoman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Batman's unclosing mouth than we've seen in any prior trailers. But whatever: it's the final trailer for the final Christopher Nolan Batman movie, and it looks pretty great, so I'll just shut up so you can watch this. Source: Iwatchstuff.com

New 'Amazing Spider-Man' Trailer: More Action, Moping, Skateboarding, Mommy/Daddy Issues.

Now that the nerd fervor has calmed somewhat over the latest Dark Knight Rises trailer, Sony wants to remind you they, too, have a costumed fellow who is quite sad about mommy and daddy going away. In this latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, our new Peter Parker does not waste much time getting to that point, either, opening with a monologue explaining that, man, being a Spidermin is rough, you guys--but not as rough as not knowing what the deal is with your parents! The rest of the film seems to follow what kind of web-swinging heroics and rad skateboarding tricks it will take for Parker to find the truth, and how that ties into a man becoming New York's first reptile bio-terrorist. NEVER FORGET when a man turned himself into a lizard and spread cartoon fart around Midtown. And judging by Sally Field's strained advice, it sounds like the new "with great power comes great responsibility" is the lesson that "secrets have a cost." It probably turns out Spider-Man's parents just left to be weirdo swingers, and now he's going to have to think about their gross orgies that occasionally involved one-armed men in lab coats. Some parental sock drawers are better left unopened, Pete. That's probably one of Martin Sheen's lines.

Man Takes Lightning Bolt To The Junk, Lives To Tell Tale.

A man in Spain was recently struck in the nuts by a rogue lightning bolt and amazingly lived to tell the tale. Granted he hasn't told too many people, but unless it transformed his peenor into Thor's hammer and can shoot lightning itself now I don't blame him. The man was walking on Avenida de La Ilustración--a street in Madrid's suburb Tres Cantos--when the lightning struck his scrotum through his pants, travelled down one of his legs and went to the sidewalk through his foot. He fell unconscious. His son called the emergency services, who treated the burns on his scrotum and feet. They moved him to the Hospital de la Paz, where he got under several tests. Luckily, his heart and brain were not affected by the lightning, said the doctors. "Heart and brain were not affected..."? Sure, provided he's not the kind of guy that thinks with his balls. What are those guys called again? Oh right, ALL MEN. Well, all men except me. I'm a romancer. A NECROMANCER. *casting spell to reanimate family dog* Thanks to Carsten, who almost got stuck by lightning once but was all, "Oh hell no, God -- not today!" and redirected it at someone else using a bent coat hanger. How Much For A DIY Kit?: $6K-$128K Pet Mummification.

The ancient Egyptians: they were smart. So smart they were the first race to be able to communicate with aliens and had them come build the pyramids. The mummification thing? That was a little weird. But the smartest people you know are often the most eccentric. *twirls Dali mustache, puffs from dragon-bone pipe* Enter Summm's pet mummification process (although they also do humans), a $6,000-$128,000 procedure (depending on the size of your pet) that ensures a long afterlife for your beloved friend. Oooooor a bunch of creeped out house guests. "Is that...a mummy dog?" "Yep, the mummified remains of my dog are in there -- only cost me $40,000." "I...think I left something in the car." "You're leaving aren't you?" "And never coming back, yes." Thanks to Gary, who heard all dogs go to heaven, so why waste the money? Cats? Cats are on their own.

New Cast members for PROMETHEUS Announced; Will This be a Companion Piece to ALIEN?

The latest entry in the epic saga that is the PROMETHEUS project, we have some new cast to connect with the film, and an unnamed source close to the film has some insight to share. The film is shaping up, more and more, in my eyes to not be a direct sequel or prequel but to take place in the same universe, thus serving as a companion piece to the Alien series. More after the jump!...
Follow up:
Sean Harris (Isolation, Creep), Kate Dickie (Outcast), and Idris Elba (28 Weeks Later, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) will be alongside , Charlize Theron , Noomi Rapace, and Michael Fassbender in Ridley Scott's latest sci-fi thiller. With filming to begin in 3 weeks, Scott is being extra secure when it comes to who reads the script, not wanting it to leak on the internet. The actors not only had to sign secrecy clauses, but were only allowed to read the story if they visited Ridley’s production office. (One exception was made, when a security courier flew to an actor’s foreign location and stood guard for two hours while the screenplay was perused.)

Some unnamed sources have stepped up, and let some interesting details about the film slip out as they were probably packing their packs to get out of Scott’s way in he found out they discussed any aspect of the film. The following is what was told in full.

"[Prometheus] has the Alien aliens in it. The catch, though, is that you might not recognize them – at least, not at first. Remember how the alien took on canine qualities after gestating in a dog? You may even suppose that the first film’s alien was so recognizably humanoid because it had grown in a human. The same applies here: generation by generation, the creature mutates.

"As Prometheus begins, the xenomorph is not too recognizable. Sure, it has that alien DNA that Scott and Fassbender teasingly referred to, but it’s missing … well, it’s missing human DNA. Or dog DNA. All you have to do is imagine how it might look if it were to mix DNA with another alien species ... and I think we’re starting to work it all out."Source: Horrorbid.com

Episode III, Revenge Of The Seniors: Old Man Lightsaber Duel In France.

"Luuuuuuuuke -- Uncle Owen is drunk and picking lightsaber fights again!"

This is a video of the lightsaber duel between two old Frenchies that ensues after one drunkenly drives his tractor over the other's prized tauntaun or something. Honestly, I have no idea WTF is going on, and I watched it like four times. What I do know is the screencap there takes place after Darth Foie Gras manages to knock Obi Won Tractordriver's lightsaber out of his hands and moves in for the finishing blow. It's actually a pretty epic battle. Definitely blows all the prequels out of the water, that's for f***ing sure! But, honestly, what doesn't? "Twilight". Touché -- my butt. Go on, give it a squeeze! Thanks to James, who once popped another driver's tires with his lightsaber for parking too close to him at the grocery store. OMG -- tell me you got the hood ornament too!

Vamos, então, a preços.

You Asked For It: Scream 4 Cast Poster.

That Scream 4 hasn’t gotten a cast poster thus far has been a minor disappointment for some fans. However the “cast line up” was a relic of the 90’s popularized by Dimension Films with Scream 2 and would become the prime example of everything old-school horror fans hated about the new slasher wave Scream inspired – beautiful people, lined up like a Vogue fashion shoot. With the simple, direct posters Dimension have offered up for Scream 4, they’ve wisely chosen to eschew perceived trendiness and exercise restraint to regain the interest of the general horror fan.

Now, this poster isn’t real of course but it certainly should be. PL Boucher is the artist behind it, and this is the final version of his previous posters which were such high quality, they were floated by lazy outlets as official. We expect this one to be no different.

Wait, What?: There's A G-Spot In The Ear?!?!

Proving that I've been treasure hunting in the wrong place my entire life, Vietnamese fans of 'ear-picking' claim there's a g-spot in the ear capable of producing orgasm-like reactions. Wait -- what?! Also, WTF is ear-picking? I'm not gonna lie, that shit sounds nasty. *wiping booger under Starbucks table*

There is a spot near the ear drum that, when touched the right way, "tingles," said 26-year-old ear picker Nguyen Thi Le Hang. "For one person, it may just be a tickle. For another person, it's a mind-blowing experience."

In fact, the ear has a G-spot, said Dr. Todd Dray, an ear, nose and throat surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center-Santa Clara. "The skin in your ear is super thin -- it's paper thin," he said. "It's very sensitive. And there are a lot of nerves that converge in the ear."

The tools include a tiny razor to shave hairs, a miniature shovel-like device to scoop up wax, tweezer-like objects to scrape the inner ear and little cotton balls on sticks that are twirled inside the ear to tickle the skin.

Ear pickers ply their trade with a mix of intense concentration and flirtation -- one reason men often don't want girlfriends or wives to know about their ear experiences. Frisky ear pickers sometimes blow into customers' ears. There are stories of customers leaving wives for ear pickers and a life of in-home ear pleasure.

Admittedly, one time I did pop a boner while Q-tipping my ears after a shower, but I just assumed it was because I'd put a pair of my girlfriend's panties on. What?! Don't knock it till you try it! And don't try it until you're 100% positive she's actually left for work. COME BACK BABY, I'M NOT A FREAK I SWEAR!Source: Geekologie.com
